SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE "CUBES IN FOREST"
A deep respect for Soviet Constructivism, a love for combining simple geometric forms, and the desire to give functional purposes to all construction and decorative elements inspired us to create this house. A distinctive feature of this project is that it is designed for future construction in two phases.
The site spans 50 acres and features elevation changes of up to 4 meters, with an old house where the client currently resides and prefers not to move during the construction of the new home. It was decided to build a fully autonomous house with all the necessary spaces nearby, after which the existing house would be demolished, and the remaining part of the new house would be built in its place.
The new extension is planned to be four stories, with technical rooms, a pool, and an ice cellar in the basement. The entire first floor will be dedicated to a spa area. The first floor will include a fireplace area, guest room, and pantry; the single-story passage will house the kitchen and living room, while the main double-height living room, library, and entry area will occupy the space of the old house. The second floor will contain four bedrooms with walk-in closets and three bathrooms. All roofs of the house are designed for use. The main supporting structure is reinforced concrete, filled with aerated concrete, insulated, and finished with natural limestone slabs that lend elegance and severity to the house, emphasizing its modernist direction.
